The duties for the Post-Doctoral Research Fellow include research on how modifications of manufacturing parameters impact textile performance, how mechanics of yarn fibers and textile structure inform the development of robust software modeling tools and testing instruments for realistic fabric simulation that enable inverse design. Ability to work in a collaborative R&D environment in close interaction with the AI/ML team is a must. This in-person role involves regular participation in project meetings, writing progress updates and reports, presenting as part of the team, and other related duties.
