Pay Rate:
- $30.36 per hour
- Additional $.75 per hour for hours worked between 6:00pm and 6:00am
- Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked on the weekend
Responsibilities:
- Oversee warehouse operations and train warehouse team members in safe operating procedures. This includes covering the duties of the operators and clerks as necessary.
- Ensure accuracy and traceability of inventory.
- Coordinate and ensure accuracy of shipments and receipts
- Ensure timely and accurate movement and proper rotation of supplies and raw materials in compliance with Corporate and government regulations for storage and inventory.
- Conduct monthly inventory verifications(counts) and reconciliations
- Coordinate movement of trucks and availability of dock spaces.
- Prepare bill of ladings, manifest, inspections forms, pallet exchange forms, receiving reports, material handling equipment inspection forms and other required shipping/receiving paperwork.
- Ensure all warehouse employees follow proper sanitation as defined the in the master sanitation plan.
- Perform work in a safe manner by following safety procedures and policies, critical safety rules, and expected standard conduct.
- This position is responsible and accountable to ensure product meets food safety, regulatory, and quality requirements by following the Food Safety Plan, Quality Plan, and company policies.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to complete work assignments with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Familiar with Excel spreadsheets.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Able to interpret data and make necessary decisions.
- Ability to pass a physical abilities test to assess ability to bend, reach, lift, pull, and climb stairs/ladders.
- Must be able to lift up to 41 lbs. Weekly, climb a ladder, and walk up/downstairs regularly.
- Basic knowledge of material handling equipment, process, palletizing, and packaging equipment, and general parts information; experience operating material handling equipment including sit down forklifts or stand up forklifts; and proficient skills in data entry, email, internet, Microsoft Office software, and computerized management systems (e.g. SAP).
- Prior experience in a related leadership position.
- Basic familiarity with all aspects of warehouse operations including, shipping and receiving (unloading and loading trucks), SAP or a similar inventory system, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) (such as hand held bar code scanner, cycle counting, directed put away), Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets and 10-key, analysis/creating and reviewing and ensuring accuracy of shipping/receiving documentation of BOL, COA, and other shipping/receiving documentation.
- Climbing of steps may be needed occasionally
- Specific vision may be required for this position, including close vision, distance vision, color and depth perception, and the ability to read computer screens for extended time period
