Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist Department: Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities College/Division: School Of Medicine Primary Job Posting Location: Macon, GA 31207 Additional Job Posting Locations: (Other locations that this position could be based) Job Details: Mercer University's Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is searching for a Speech-Language Pathologist. Responsibilities: Working in the adult Crisis Services Diagnostic Outpatient Center (CSDC), the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy services, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support patients' or students' communication needs. The SLP ensures services are delivered in accordance with professional standards, ethical guidelines, and applicable federal and state regulations. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program and three years of directly relevant experience, which includes clinical experience in evaluation and treatment of communication and/or swallowing disorders are required.
