The Opportunity:
We're seeking a Studio Photographer with a passion for product photography and an exceptional eye for detail to join our in-house studio. This role supports a full spectrum of imaging needs-from internal design documentation to polished, external-facing assets for e-commerce, packaging, and marketing. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, technically proficient in studio lighting and photography workflows, and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. This person will work closely with the design, marketing, and engineering teams.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Create product photography and/or video to support teams in all stages of production. Including styling, rigging, and art direction for asset creation.
- Translate creative briefs into compelling visuals, offering expert input on product styling, lighting setups, and photographic strategies to best showcase each toy's unique features.
- Perform post-production tasks including processing, color correction, and light retouching of digital assets.
- Manage assets, input metadata, and upload images to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
- Coordinate and manage scheduling for the HTC Studio, ensuring timely production and cross-functional alignment.
- Oversee handling of restricted products in compliance with established protocols.
- Assist in the development and optimization of studio workflows.
- Photograph internal company events as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- 3-5 years of studio photography experience, with a focus on both product and lifestyle imagery
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Capture One Pro (tethered capture, batch processing, color grading)
- Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Premiere
- Microsoft 365, Teams, Box, Kiteworks
- Expertise in studio lighting (strobes and LEDs), modifiers, and DSLR/mirrorless camera operation
- Familiarity with digital asset management best practices
- Ability to multitask, take initiative, and meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across creative and technical disciplines
- Maintain a professional, organized studio environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience photographing consumer products, especially toys or collectibles
- Background working cross-functionally with packaging, e-commerce, design, development, and marketing teams
- Experience training freelance photographers or junior creatives
- Video or content creation skills are a plus
The annual base salary range for this position is between $54,4000.00 and $83,000.00.
