Advance your career as a Quality Engineer in the aerospace manufacturing industry. In this role, you'll build on your existing manufacturing quality experience by taking greater ownership of quality systems, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives for complex aerostructures and sub-assemblies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory (e.g., FAA), and third-party standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP).
  • Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to support operational excellence.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits to verify adherence to quality standards and procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage records retention in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform supplier audits and assessments; collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality and delivery issues.
  • Apply root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (RCA/CAPA) to reduce non-conformances.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve Program Quality Plans in alignment with project and customer requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams-including engineering, supply chain, and production-to support quality initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by applying Lean and Six Sigma principles to manufacturing processes.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) through proactive quality planning and risk mitigation.
  • Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned to support team and business objectives.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or 6+ years of quality engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis methodologies and corrective/preventive action planning.
  • Experience using inspection equipment and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations and/or program requirements.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with aerostructures manufacturing (metallics and/or composites).
  • Working knowledge of Lean tools and techniques (e.g., A3, PFMEA, Fishbone diagrams).
  • Familiarity with AS9145 or equivalent APQP processes.
  • Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
