Job Summary

Provide support and project coordination for the Design, Construction, Facilities, Sight & Sound (DCFSS) department by monitoring all aspects of financial reporting and accounting, including, but not limited to, invoice and vendor management, budget preparation, cost forecasting, expense tracking, contract execution, policy compliance, and department reporting.

What you will be doing:

  • Validate and assist in executing contracts, purchase orders, and invoice tracking for capital expenditures and department expenses.
  • Provide vendor and field support for all service and project related questions and invoice inquiries.
  • Bill and collect reimbursables from outside parties.
  • Serve as the system admin of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) platform.
  • Monitor projects costs from design to implementation.
  • Prepare and track reporting of the annual budget.
  • Analyze historical data and forecast project spend patterns.
  • Maintain shared department documentation, templates and communication files.

What we need from you:

  • 1+ year(s) project accounting or general accounting experience.
  • Demonstrates strong time management skills to deliver results on or ahead of schedule.
  • Data management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Vendor management and coordination.

What we also value (preferred):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, , or related field.
  • Proficient with Oracle ERP (accounting software system) with an emphasis in purchase orders, invoices and budget reconciliations.
  • Intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Office.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 1+ year(s) project accounting or general accounting experience.
  • Demonstrates strong time management skills to deliver results on or ahead of schedule.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Vendor management and coordination.
