Summary of Job Description:

The Director of Social Strategy & Creator Partnerships is responsible for developing and executing integrated social ecosystems that ignite brand engagement.This position identifies macrotrends, cultural moments, and emerging platforms that move our brand from known to loved.The Director, Social Strategy & Creator Partnerships architects comprehensive social strategies that leverage creator economies, influencer partnerships, and strategic brand collaborations to drive sustainable business growth.This position leads, coaches, and develops a team of digital storytellers and leadds cross-functional initiatives to seamlessly integrate social within our national, digital and local campaign landscape.In addition, the Director has oversight over our social agency, creator agencies and partners, and community management leaders and determines brand partnerships.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Designs a comprehensive social media vision aligned with Panda brand positioning, brand strategy, and business objectives, anticipating future cultural shifts and platform evolution.
  • Leads and coaches a team of digital storytellers, creator specialists, social production coordinators, and community management stakeholders.Establishes team organization structure that can grow as platforms evolve.
  • Identifies emerging social platforms, creator trends, and cultural moments that align with brand values and marketing imperatives. Champions social-first thinking across the integrated marketing communications team.
  • Builds and manages strategic relationships with paid creators across all tiers (micro, macro, mega, celebrity) to create an integrated influencer ecosystem.
  • Identifies and cultivates emerging talent before they reach mainstream awareness, building long-term brand advocacy relationships.
  • Establishes key KPIs that connect social initiatives to broader Panda people, guest, and financial KPIs.
  • Provides quarterly business reviews and strategic recommendations to leadership.Develops comprehensive measurement frameworks that track both engagement and business impact.
  • Collaborates with the analytics team to identify guest insights that inform social strategy and content development.

Your background and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, innovation, communications, advertising, computer science or related field required
  • Minimum ten years in social media role with increasing project management responsibility, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or consumer brand industry; demonstrated experience managing influencer/creator partnerships at scale as well as developing partnerships and strategic alliances
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: M4: $161,000 - $226,000 / Annual

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
