Professional Summary:

Reporting to the Revenue Cycle Manager and/or Supervisor: the Revenue Cycle Coordinator will be responsible for supporting management in maintaining, improving, processing and evaluating the billing and collection of accounts receivable for the Health System and/or resolve complex payer issues to completion daily.

The Revenue Cycle Coordinator provides administrative support to the Revenue Cycle team. This is an entry level billing position: Data entry, filing, scanning, quality assurance, research, mail services, charge posting, charge correction, and other administrative tasks.

Location: Hybrid (Schedule to be discussed with Hiring Manager)

Hours: Days, 40 hours

Requirements:



  • High school diploma or equivalent, required


1-2 years experience:



  • Knowledge of accounting, healthcare, and general office procedures, preferred
  • Data Entry skills
  • Intermediate experience with charge posting and charge collections/Accounts recievables
  • General office tasks (mailing, faxing, scanning, filing, quality assurance, etc.)
  • Strong customer service attitude
  • Intermediate knowledge of accounts receivables that may include debit/credit transactions; charge transfers; contractural allowances and adjustments and financial class changes.



Salary Range: Minimum 17.11/hour - Maximum 28.26/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
