We're seeking a detail-driven Licensed RCDD Engineer to join our mission-critical data center team. This role is essential for ensuring the design, installation, and maintenance of structured cabling systems meet industry standards and support the scalability, reliability, and performance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will apply technical expertise to integrate communications infrastructure within complex data center environments. *Skills* visio, autocad, bim *Top Skills Details* visio,autocad,bim *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Key Responsibilities Design and implement structured cabling systems compliant with TIA/EIA standards. Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for new installations and retrofits. Collaborate with data center architects, network engineers, and construction teams to support optimal infrastructure performance. Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine current system capacities and future needs. Provide oversight and quality assurance during project execution to ensure adherence to design specifications. Manage vendor relationships and ensure third-party contractors comply with industry standards. Maintain accurate records of infrastructure designs and updates in CAD or similar platforms. Contribute to cost estimates, material selection, and scheduling for cabling projects. Ensure compliance with applicable local building codes and BICSI standards. Required Qualifications RCDD certification through BICSI (active and in good standing). Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in structured cabling design, preferably in data center environments. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design platforms. Deep understanding of TIA/EIA, ANSI, and IEEE standards. Strong communication and project management skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints. Preferred Qualifications Experience with hyperscale or enterprise-level data center environments. Certifications such as DCDC (Data Center Design Consultant) or PMP. Familiarity with fiber optics, copper cabling, and wireless infrastructure design.
