Position Summary:

The Quality Inspector I is responsible for conducting in-process and final inspections of components and finished medical devices to ensure compliance with all applicable standards, regulations, and specifications. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, supporting patient safety, and meeting regulatory and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of products at various stages of production
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, quality standards, and specifications
  • Accurately document inspection findings and maintain detailed records
  • Utilize inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and other metrology equipment
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformances
  • Communicate effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues
  • Support a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to fumes, adhesives, or strong odors
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies


Must Have:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection role, preferably in a regulated industry (e.g., medical device, aerospace, or automotive)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Basic math and computer skills (MS Office, data entry)
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring equipment



Good to have:



  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment or controlled manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO 13485, or FDA regulations
  • Technical certifications or training in quality inspection or metrology
