POSITION DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert capable of bridging the gap between vendor technology and clinical operations. They must possess a strong understanding of the product's functionality and troubleshooting techniques, enabling them to validate system performance and identify issues. This includes evaluating current workflows, recognizing opportunities for optimization, and recommending improvements in either system design or operational processes. The candidate should have firsthand industry experience in RadNet and demonstrate deep familiarity with the application of electronic health records in that setting. They must work to resolve issues and change requests. They must be able to confidently lead discussions with diverse stakeholders, assess current-state workflows, and propose enhancements that consider both immediate needs and downstream impacts. Additionally, they should be adept at articulating changes to affected groups, integrating those insights into training content and communication strategies to support long-term success across future rollouts.

Type of Employment: Full-time, W2

Work Location/Travel: Expected 50% travel required; applicants must be free from travel restrictions to accommodate evolving needs of the client.

Salary Range: $82,103 - $97,659 base salary, depending on experience and location. Competitive salary/pay, potential for bonuses. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is highly competitive but dependent upon employment type (1099, contract, W2).

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, configure, and support RadNet and related radiology information systems to enable seamless clinical and operational workflow across departments.
  • Evaluate and optimize radiology department workflow, identifying opportunities for efficiency, data accuracy, and quality improvement.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of new RadNet features, modules, and system upgrades.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to RadNet and associated radiology systems.
  • Develop and deliver training, job aids, and guidance for radiology staff and technologists to support proficiency and user adoption of RadNet tools and best practices.
  • Work closely with clinical staff, radiologists, technologists, and IT teams to understand user needs and optimize RadNet configurations and clinical work queues.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable policies, regulations, and accreditation requirements (e.g., HIPAA), ensuring RadNet system use supports patient safety, data privacy, and quality standards.
  • Monitor, review, and maintain data quality within RadNet, providing recommendations for workflow improvements and system optimization.
  • Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation related to RadNet build, workflow design, and system administration to support staff education and continuity of operations.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, new RadNet features, and advances in radiology information technology, advising stakeholders on opportunities for innovation and efficiency.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • In-depth understanding of RadNet and its role in supporting clinical and operational radiology workflows.
  • Familiarity with radiology department operations, including scheduling, patient registration, clinical documentation, and image review.
  • Skilled in supporting RadNet and related clinical information systems, including basic configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to review, validate, and maintain data quality within RadNet and associated platforms.
  • Skilled in identifying and resolving workflow, data, and system issues, providing actionable recommendations and sustainable solutions.
  • Ability to create training materials, educate end users, and support staff in achieving proficiency and adopting best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical staff, technologists, administrators, and technical teams.
  • Understanding of HIPAA, patient privacy, data security, and applicable accreditation requirements as they relate to RadNet and clinical radiology environments.
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies, learn advanced features of RadNet and related platforms, and stay current with evolving radiology and clinical informatics trends.
  • Ability to manage priorities, balance competing demands, and support project milestones in a dynamic clinical environment.
  • Experience maintaining detailed documentation for RadNet build, workflow design, and system administration to support end-user training and ongoing operations

Education/Certification Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Radiology Technology, Health Information Management, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Preferred Certification: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or an equivalent credential.
  • Preferred Certification related to Health Informatics or Clinical Information Systems such as:
    • Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA)
    • Certified Professional in Health Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS)

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of Oracle Experience including supporting Cerner EHR implementations

Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Docebo)
