Job Title: Mental Health Counselor 2 (EAP Specialist) Duration: 3 Months (possible extension) Schedule: Standard Shift 8 Hours Pay Rate Range: $35/hr Job Description: Provide clinical services to WTC EMS members and their families who present with a variety of needs including, but not limited to social, emotional, family, physical, and job performance problems as well as substance abuse disorders. Conducting preliminary interviews and documenting cases from the initial consultation to the end of treatment Developing appropriate intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups Collaborate on intervention plans with other mental health specialists, doctors, nurses, and social workers. Follow up with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients admitted to the hospital. Identify and prevent behaviors that impede recovery Assist family members and primary caregivers in managing mental behavioral challenges Required Skill: Ideal candidate would have a LCSW, LMTF, LMHC or a related master's degree, Or mental health license (preferred) and effective verbal and written skills.
