Scope of Work:

WPI Product Support Sales Representatives are professional salespersons possessing an in-depth knowledge of our company, its products, services, and support programs. The PSSR should be positive, professional, and promote WPI. PSSR will be assigned a territory and/or accounts and is expected to contact customers and recommend parts, services, and attachments provided by WPI's manufacturers and WPI.

Primary Job Responsibilities:



  • As a PSSR you will prepare and follow as closely as possible a weekly itinerary
  • A Product Support Sales Representative will prepare daily call reports and other information, entered in CRM Series to be reviewed by District Managers and Director of Director of Non-OEM Strategies
  • A Product Support Sales Representative will act as a go-between for the customer and WPI's parts and service departments.
  • A Product Support Sales Representative will make customer contact on a regular basis to ensure customers are aware of the PSSR role.
  • Attend training when available from Manufacture and WPI
  • A Product Support Sales Representative will provide product leads and communications with a unit sales representative.
  • Stay up to date on new product support offerings made available by WPI's Manufacture and WPI
  • A Product Support Sales Representative will quote customers' parts and service jobs as required coordinating with parts and service.
  • Coordinate customer complaints, such as Manufacturer's warranty, policy adjustments, parts prices, etc., with the respective person in each department.
  • Inspect & evaluate customer's equipment, as required, for customer satisfaction.
  • Develop customer profiles for assigned customers.
  • Deliver Extended Warranty contracts and oil analyzer kits to customers as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a bachelor's degree in applied discipline is preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of previous experience.

  • Must have a working knowledge of the above-titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its objectives.
  • Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.
  • Must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company.
  • Must have a current driver's license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier standards.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend and twist several times a day.
  • Must be dependable and able to work independently.
  • Must have good communication skills for dealing with customers and employees.
  • Must maintain good client relations.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance.
  • Must promote and maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
  • Must have the ability to work flexible hours, days, and weekends (as necessary)
  • Must protect the company assets and interests.
  • Must be able to travel and stay overnight.
  • Must be able to supervise and motivate others.
  • Must have the ability to effectively evaluate others.
