Departmental Overview Considered mid-level pharmacy technician and can complete basic and some advanced pharmacy technician functions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Primary responsibilities will include providing clerical and administrative support to the pharmacy department and leadership team. Will also be able to provide occasional staffing support. Job Summary Job Summary Provides departmental clerical and administrative support Assist pharmacy leadership with personnel management Onboarding coordinator Supply procurement Maintain reports, files, and databases Medication preparation and dispensing Medication stocking/delivery and automated medication equipment Sterile compounding Qualifications Education HS diploma or GED required. Experience At least 24 months hospital pharmacy (or equivalent as determined by pharmacy leadership). Licensure/Certification OK permit required within 90 days of hire, and PTCB CPhT certification required within 90 days of hire (subject to termination). Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities All Level I and II competencies.
