Departmental Overview

Considered mid-level pharmacy technician and can complete basic and some advanced pharmacy technician functions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Primary responsibilities will include providing clerical and administrative support to the pharmacy department and leadership team. Will also be able to provide occasional staffing support.

  • Assist pharmacy leadership with personnel management
  • Onboarding coordinator
  • Supply procurement
  • Maintain reports, files, and databases
  • Medication preparation and dispensing
  • Medication stocking/delivery and automated medication equipment
  • Sterile compounding

Qualifications

Education

  • HS diploma or GED required.

Experience

  • At least 24 months hospital pharmacy (or equivalent as determined by pharmacy leadership).

Licensure/Certification

  • OK permit required within 90 days of hire, and PTCB CPhT certification required within 90 days of hire (subject to termination).

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • All Level I and II competencies.

Compensation

  • $14.29-$23.34/hr based on previous work experience
