Based in the Union-Bulletin newsroom, you'll be part of our affiliate design hub, which builds print and eEditions for the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin, the Yakima Herald-Republic and Yakima's Spanish language weekly, El Sol de Yakima.Essentially, here's the job: Review daily budgets with Union-Bulletin editor.Design and build clean, effective news, sports and feature pages in the BLOX TCMS for print, eEditions.Send pages to press, Page Suite.Design, build and send advance pages.Fill in as necessary for Yakima Herald-Republic, El Sol de Yakima.Position requirements: Exceptional print design skills and news judgment.Ability to meet deadlines.Accuracy.Strong interpersonal skills.Experience: A newsroom internship or experience as part of a post-collegiate newsroom staff designing print pages.Walla Walla is a city of about 33,500 in southeast Washington.
