The Opportunity As a member of the Student Affairs team, the Student Accessibility Manager (SAM) will report to the Assistant Director of Student Accessibility Services. The SAM is responsible for supporting Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide students with disabilities by providing individualized accommodation and services to ensure equal access to educational opportunities. This individual will assess student needs through review and evaluation of supportive documentation and intake appointments, develop support plans, manage confidential student records, maintain detailed accurate records, and present resources. The SAM will also be expected to perform administrative and training functions and collaborate with faculty and staff to create an inclusive academic environment. The SAM will be tasked with removing barriers for students with disabilities and ensuring equal opportunity and accessibility to Post-Secondary Education while supporting student access, retention, and engagement. The SAM will collaborate with Student Affairs team members to develop, implement and evaluate innovative programs and services that provide support for the diverse student population at ERAU-WW.
