What You'll Do


  • Leading projects and tasks within the freight "tower" of Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Acting as the Subject Matter Expert for the Freight Pay area.
  • Leading Process Optimization and Break/Fix projects, working with IT, Purchasing, and others.
  • Participate in freight initiatives to improve and enhance processes.
  • Lead the new carrier onboarding process.
  • Providing training and guidance on day-to-day operations of Freight Pay Acting as the AP representative in meetings, projects, and presentations with others outside of Accounts Payable.
  • Leading training or other presentations with Cross Functional teams or outside parties (vendors).
  • Maintaining SOX compliance.

  • Gain an understanding of the company's blueprint; specifically, freight pay operations.
  • Improve the ability to lead and manage finance and accounting responsibilities.
  • Increase confidence in management presentation and financial data reporting.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree with focus in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of Finance or Accounting experience
  • Good working knowledge of accounting principles and SOX controls
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft programs
