This is a hybrid position. The current onsite requirement is 2 days per week but is subject to change based on meetings or projects.

In this influential role, you will collaborate with sourcing teams, internal stakeholders, suppliers, and the Office of Community Health Impact and Belonging to grow and strengthen our local supplier base, especially in and around Michigan. You'll oversee supplier segmentation, performance metrics, and metric compliance while guiding a team of subject matter experts and championing innovative approaches to supplier development. Job Summary

The Advisor of Supplier Inclusion and Performance leads the comprehensive development of supplier performance management strategies and framework inclusive of supply chain risk, resiliency, sustainability and inclusion. This role engages with suppliers, supply chain team members, stakeholders across the system and the Office of Community Health Impact and Belonging to achieve organizational goals and initiatives. He/she/they lead a team of subject matter experts dedicated to measuring and improving supplier inclusion and performance while building a highly adopted best-in-class program.

Essential Functions
  • Partner to continuously design, refine and deploy system-wide strategies focused on supplier inclusion and performance management. Monitor the effectiveness of said strategies and make adjustments as necessary. Ensure alignment of strategy to organizational goals and objectives at all times.
  • Work with Supply Chain team members and internal stakeholders to develop, deploy and maintain supplier performance and development plans that seeks to creatively accomplish mutually beneficial provider/supplier goals.
  • Act as Corewell Health's primary Supplier Inclusion and Performance ambassador by attending community events and sharing best practices with other health systems and partners. Build organizational awareness related to the importance of the supplier performance management program.
  • Oversee the ongoing supplier program management, including annual goal setting, the creation and maintenance of KPI's, and annual program planning.
  • Coordinate and assist with the delivery of supplier inclusion and performance education and training programs for supply chain team members and stakeholders. Actively engage and participate in working groups, as necessary, to garner support.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to supplier inclusion and performance team members related to goal setting, program development and implementation.
  • Develop program assessment protocols for supplier evaluation and improvement. Provide regular reporting and tracking of inclusion and performance program goals and metrics.
  • Regularly communicate inclusion program progress and results to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and comprehensive way.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain
  • 5 years of relevant experience within a regulated industry preferred (auditing, compliance, procurement, etc.)

Preferred

  • Master's Degree preferably in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain
  • 2 years of relevant experience in Leadership
