Work Schedule: 100% FTE, Evening/Night shift. Hours are 5:15 pm to 6:30 am Friday through Sunday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to: * Maintain heating and air conditioning equipment, emergency power systems, medical gas distribution and supply systems, food service equipment, and hospital life support systems for direct and indirect patient use. * Perform diagnosis and repair equipment in emergency situations, monitor and make adjustments to the building(s) environment and lighting using a computerized building automation system and monitor and make adjustments to computerized, intelligent fire alarm systems. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Two (2) year Technical diploma Preferred
Work Experience
- 2 years of maintenance experience or formal training, in a healthcare setting Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid Driver's License Required
