Allied Universal is hiring a Vice President & General Manager. Allied Universal Electronic Monitoring is seeking a dynamic and inspirational leader to join our executive team as the North American Vice President/General Manager. In this critical role, you will drive strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and profitable growth to unlock the organization's full potential. The ideal candidate has developed and executed a strategic vision and has a passion for leading in an innovative and collaborative environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead all aspects of business performance, including sales, operations, and strategic growth initiatives - Exceed financial performance targets with full P&L ownership, lead budgeting, cash flow optimization and strategic financial planning
- Drive sustainable year-over-year revenue and profit growth
- Develop and execute business strategy, including identifying new revenue streams and enhancing competitive positioning
- Provide inspirational leadership to a U.S.-based team and contribute to the global leadership team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and resellers to drive long-term business growth
- Oversee and improve processes for resource allocation, service delivery, project costing, and solution development
- Develop and implement annual operating plans and budgets aligned with company goals and objectives
- Directly oversee key marketing, sales , and operational senior management roles; participate in selection and placement of direct reports; design and implement career development and performance improvement measures
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE): - Must possess one or more of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field
- Associate's degree in business administration, management, or related field with a minimum of twenty (20) years of leadership experience in the technology industry
- High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of leadership experience in the technology industry
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive leadership experience in the technology industry
- Experience in developing, growing, and retaining customer relationships
- P&L management experience demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of EBITA and gross margin
- Inspirational leadership skills and ability to manage a team deployed on a national basis
- Strategic planning, sales strategy and execution skills
- Deep expertise in the technology market, including software, hardware, cloud services, AI/ML, cybersecurity, or a related field
- Strong understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire large, dynamic teams
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong financial management skills, with a track record of achieving aggressive revenue and profitability targets
- Excellent business development, sales, and negotiation skills; ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE): - Master's degree in business administration, management, or related field
- Experience in a service or technology-based industry
- Experience dealing with governing agencies at federal, state, and county level
