Shifts include daytime (8am-5pm) Monday-Friday hours and Saturday (12pm-5pm). *We are currently hiring for: 2025 Fall semester, specific shifts. Duties include: Assisting students, faculty, staff and members of the public with resource access, reference, and general questions in person, over the phone, and on chat Checking library materials in/out Assisting in opening and closing the library Helping users with printing and computers Shelving returned items and shelf-reading the collection Assisting users with 3D printing, virtual reality, and the Anatomage anatomy table Participating in projects and other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Equivalencies not found for this position Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: Work study award Reliable; committed to fulfilling scheduled shifts and tasks. Well-developed time management skills Working knowledge of technology, including troubleshooting of computers, printers, and scanners Able to work the specific days and times needing to be staffed (able to fill gaps in desk coverage) Customer service experience Familiarity with a library and experience working in a library Ability to work on a team, communicate and support work colleagues Application Instructions Only applications submitted through the official UNMJobs site will be accepted.
