FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

Want to be a part of the #1 Weather Team in the #4 market? We currently have an opportunity for a Meteorologist at KDFW FOX 4. Dallas-Fort Worth is one of the most dynamic weather markets in the country with all modes of severe weather impacting our viewers. This is an exciting time to be part of our team. Not only are we Dallas-Fort Worth's top source for local news, we will soon be moving our entire News operations to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility coming in 2026. In addition, FOX offers as part of our total compensation package, comprehensive medical plans, a competitive vacation plan, and a 401(k) plan just to name a few. The ideal candidate must be able to execute continuous coverage of active and severe weather tracking and forecasting on TV, Digital, and Streaming by using tools such as radar, WSI system and other sources. We need someone with extensive knowledge of weather science and forecasting who can communicate weather topics in a dynamic, conversational, and engaging manner to our audience. In addition, our Meteorologists produce Texas Weather Live, a 30-minute streaming show every weekday. We are looking for an enthusiastic content producer who can create and operate graphics for TV, Digital, and Streaming segments, as well as Social Media. The ideal candidate must be a team player during daily, active and severe weather systems and coverage. Must be comfortable broadcasting from remote locations during severe weather and community events. We are seeking an candidate with three (3) years' on-air weather forecasting experience in a medium to major TV market. A degree in Meteorology is required for this role, and AMS or CBM Seal is preferred. The ideal candidate must be a team player and be proactive in communication with the Weather team, as well as the Newsroom staff. We are seeking a candidate who performs well under pressure in a time-sensitive environment. The candidate must have proven experience in using weather technology, and have demonstrated experience and success on all digital platforms. The candidate must be able to maintain a flexible schedule in order to respond to operational needs created by severe weather coverage, the Weather team's schedules, and other needs that may arise. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $77,400.00-87,400.00 annually.
