GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Manager of Accounting Transformation will lead high-impact initiatives that modernize processes, accelerate digital adoption, and elevate operational performance across the Village Sentinels and the broader Apollo team. This leader will help shape and execute a multi-year transformation roadmap that advances our strategic objectives, drives efficiency, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the transformation strategy:Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for digital and process transformation in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration:Partner with teams across Finance and Accounting to identify and implement automation, process optimization, and innovation opportunities.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team:Oversee a team of Transformation Analysts by providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to support their growth and impact.
  • Drive innovation and experimentation:Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging new ideas, pilot testing, and scaled adoption of successful initiatives.
  • Establish scalable frameworks:Design and maintain governance models, toolkits, and repeatable approaches for initiative prioritization and execution.
  • Upskill and enable others:Partner with learning teams to support digital literacy and adoption of tools like Alteryx, Power BI, and emerging AI capabilities.
  • Act as a strategic advisor:Collaborate with senior leaders to influence decision-making with insight into transformation priorities, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead project execution:Oversee the end-to-end delivery of transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines, scope, and business outcomes.
  • Champion change management:Design and implement strategies that support smooth transitions to new tools, processes, and ways of working.
  • Monitor impact and performance:Track KPIs and provide regular updates to leadership on progress, outcomes, and value delivered.
  • Stay ahead of trends:Bring in relevant insights from the broader F&A and tech landscape to evolve and enhance our transformation strategy.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Strategy consulting or other similar strategy development experience preferred

Preferred

  • Master's degree highly preferred
  • Experience leading large-scale business transformation teams from concept through implementation with tangible impact on operating/financial performance

Travel up to 25%

Salary/ Wage Range

$91,000.00-$133,000.00 / year If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year
Washington Non-exempt:
*Bellingham: $17.66/hour
*Burien: $21.16/hour
*Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour
*Renton: $20.90/hour
*Seattle: $20.76/hour
*Tukwila: $21.10/hour
*Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
