THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA Tippie College of Business Temporary Adjunct Position(s) in Management & Entrepreneurship The Department of Management & Entrepreneurship within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for temporary adjunct position(s) in Management & Entrepreneurship at the level of Adjunct Lecturer, Adjunct Associate Professor, or Adjunct Professor, starting fall semester 2025. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Position(s) are temporary and do not include benefits. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Appropriate background checks (e.g. criminal background and credential checks) will be conducted. Job Function/Course Loads The teaching load for this position is up to four courses per academic year and is dependent on department needs and student enrollment. Education Requirement MBA, doctorate or a degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Required Qualifications Evidence of successful teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level in any area of management or a demonstrated high level of teaching competence. Desired Qualifications We particularly seek candidates who are prepared to teach in multiple areas of management and entrepreneurship at the undergraduate (in person) and graduate levels (online). Applicants must have a strong background in at least two of the following areas; (1) general management, (2) organizational strategy, (3) project management, (4) organizational behavior, and (5) human resources.
