We are exclusively partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed FinTech company headquartered in Atlanta, currently generating $40-$70M in annual revenue. With strong financial backing and an acquisitive growth strategy, the company is well-positioned for significant expansion. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team during a pivotal phase of scale-up and transformation.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will play a critical role in managing all aspects of the accounting and financial reporting functions. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a candidate eager to make an impact by establishing best-in-class financial operations to support the company's rapid growth. Key Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee and manage the monthly close process and consolidated financial reporting
  • Lead interactions with external auditors, tax advisors, and outsourced payroll providers
  • Manage treasury operations, account reconciliations, and cash flow oversight
  • Support and co-lead ERP implementation and optimization
  • Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies
  • Drive process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, speed, and scalability
  • Build, mentor, and grow the accounting team to support future expansion

Qualifications
  • CPA or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation required
  • Prior Big 4 audit and consulting experience strongly preferred
  • 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
  • Experience in a PE-backed, high-growth environment (< $100M revenue)
  • Proven ability to build scalable accounting teams, systems, and processes
  • Industry experience in SaaS, FinTech, or software strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success managing ERP implementations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilities
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to be detail-oriented and hands-on when needed
  • Track record of job stability and career progression
