NO C2C. W2 ONLY. MUST SIT ONSITE IN RICHMOND, VA 3 DAYS A WEEK. TEKsystems is currently looking for a Systems Engineer/Administrator that will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating and troubleshooting VM migrations in a production environment with VMware based Cloud services on HP and Dell server hardware. This position requires some weekend and evening work. * 5+ years of experience with VSphere (specifically 7 & 8). You must have experience with those versions of VSPhere. * HCX experience * vSAN * Network knowledge * Very strong experience with troubleshooting - you must have experience with troubleshooting for migrations * Experience working with a high number of clusters (at least 1000+) Minimum 2 years' experience supporting and troubleshooting issues for VMware vSphere and ESXi 7.x and 8.x beyond VM support. Experience in planning and implementing large technical projects Ability to follow, define, document and implement technical procedures Strong understanding and experience with security and authentication of VMWare and hardware interfaces Strong understanding and ability to work to an ITIL framework Experience in communication with and working on global teams within a large organization Top Skills Details VMware, Vsphere, vSan, network, HCX, troubleshooting Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
