Position Summary In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, contributes professional and clinical expertise to assigned patient populations to ensure the delivery of high quality care. Scope of practice will encompass: Education Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program as determined by the Committee on Allied Health. Education and Accreditation or a current Registered Professional Nurse and Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program/master's in nursing. Current Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or for Advanced Practice Nurses a current Board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in area of specialty Hold a valid, current New Jersey license. Experience Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical practice experience in related field. Willing to train highly motivated individual Skills Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment if not already covered. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving. Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred. BCLS & ACLS certification. Schedule will include on-call and/or weekend rotations as needed. Salary
