POSITION SUMMARY:
Valley Health System in recruiting a Program Director for Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship and Director for VMG Palliative Care. The Director of Palliative Care will be responsible for planning, development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive palliative care services across the Valley continuum. The Director will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, patient centered care ensuring that patients with serious illness receive comprehensive symptom management, psychosocial support and goal concordant care. This role involves collaboration with health care providers, patients and families to optimize the quality of life and align care with patients' goals and values. EDUCATION: A degree in Medicine or Osteopathy is required. Master's degree in business, health services management, or public health preferred. An unrestricted license to practice medicine in New Jersey is required. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 plus years of Graduate Medical Education experience required.
