BASIC FUNCTION Under direct supervision receives, catalogs, stores, and transfers products for resale and operational supplies RESPONSIBILITIES * Checks incoming orders against items listed on invoices, inter-store transfers, BOLs, or other proper forms for correct counts. * Counts, sorts, transfers incoming items and supplies. * Marks with identifying codes, sorts, and stores supplies in proper location according to prescribed methods for convenient retrieval. * Initiates transfers and transfer requests as needed; delivers and picks up products and supplies to locations as requested. * Maintains Inventory Control system records on issuances, periodically takes physical count of stock on hand, and prepares reports as necessary. * Drives, loads, and unloads a delivery truck periodically. * Operates equipment such as dollies, carts, etc., in handling and transporting products, supplies, and equipment. * Maintains warehouse in clean and orderly manner. QUALIFICATIONS * Ability to read, write, and follow instructions * Possession of appropriate driver's license as required * Use of phone, fax, bar code scanners, and laptops * Must be able to move up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
