The NYU Health Sciences Library (NYUHSL) invites applicants for the position of Data Services Librarian, a faculty appointment in the NYU Grossman School of Medicine at the Library Associate level. We are seeking an early career librarian with curiosity and excitement for learning new data and technology-related skills. The Data Services Librarian will report to the Head of Data Services and Research Impact. This position will play a critical role in advancing student and workforce development by offering training and resources in research data management and related topics. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in providing online and asynchronous education, be comfortable with speaking in front of large groups, and demonstrate enthusiasm for collaboration with diverse stakeholders across a large, academic healthcare organization. Compensation and Benefits The NYU Grossman School of Medicine offers faculty a competitive compensation and benefits package covering health insurance, retirement benefits, time off, tuition benefits, wellness programs, and more. NYU Health Sciences Library provides mentoring and support for research, scholarship and publication as part of our commitment to ongoing faculty professional development. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York State Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $78,000 to $85,000 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
