Genesis10 is seeking a Mainframe Engineer with our financial services client in Lake Mary, FL. This is a twelve-month contract to hire position requiring 4 days onsite per week. Summary and responsibilities: Act as a back-up to the application manager Participate in the technical design, development, and implementation of application systems Develop innovative business solutions by creating new applications, modifying existing ones, and providing post-production support Ensure that all development aligns with established specifications and business requirements to deliver value to the organization Required skills: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field 3+ years of experience in mainframe application development Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and other mainframe technologies Familiarity with version control systems and GIT, CI/CD pipelines MQ experience Hands-on developing experience Agile/Scrum experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities This position pays $74/hr -$76/hr W2 depending on experience If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!
