Essential Job Duties |
The primary purpose of this position is to provide 1-on-1 coaching services across graduate programs: working professional
MBA, full-time
MBA, and specialty master's programs.
Program Development, Delivery, and Assessment - 50%
Executive Coaches will independently design and deliver programmatic offerings that support employer and alumni engagement, career exploration and decision making, and career skill development. Drive the process of continuous evaluation and iteration of career support resources. Use a continuous improvement model for these offerings based on feedback, placement, national career services events, and market trends.
Employer and Alumni Engagement - 20%
In collaboration with the Employer Relations lead, foster and grow relationships with external stakeholders, alumni, and professional associations. Executive Coaches will leverage these relationships to provide opportunities for student enrichment and employment: mixers, industry forums, employer summits, etc. |

- Experience leading workshops and seminars on topics such as:
- Career exploration and decision-making
- Resume and cover letter development
- Interview preparation and techniques
- Networking and professional branding strategies
Stakeholder Engagement
- Skilled in cultivating relationships with external partners, including employers, alumni, and professional associations.
- Ability to coordinate and deliver student-facing events such as networking mixers, career panels, and industry summits.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and group facilitation.
- Comfortable working with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
Schedule Flexibility
- Willingness to offer evening and weekend coaching sessions to accommodate the schedules of working professional students.

Knowledge of Graduate Education
- Familiarity with MBA and specialized master's programs (e.g., finance, marketing, analytics).
- Strong understanding of the graduate business school environment and employer expectations for advanced-degree students.
Industry Experience
- Professional background in corporate, consulting, or professional services, bringing credibility to career advising.
- Insight into industry-specific hiring practices, particularly in fields commonly pursued by MBA and MS graduates.
Data Driven Mindset
- Skilled in using career outcomes data, labor market trends, and stakeholder feedback to inform and improve career programming.
- Ability to conduct or interpret assessments and analytics related to student placement, engagement, and program impact.
Technological Proficiency
- Proficient in career services platforms such as Handshake and Symplicity.
- Familiar with learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas), Zoom, and presentation tools including PowerPoint and Prezi.
Coaching Credentials
- Certification or formal training in recognized career coaching methodologies (e.g., ICF, Gallup Strengths, MBTI).
