The EEG Technologist provides expertise to the EEG and EMU departments. The EEG Technologist is credentialed in EEG (R. EEG T.). providing general oversight of the EEG Technologist Assistant and EEG Technologist Entry. The EEG Technologist independently obtains high quality, artifact-free neurodiagnostic studies on patients in the outpatient laboratory and\or at the patient's bedside. Performs tasks in partnership with the care team to ensure patient comfort and safety while the patient is being evaluated. The EEG technologist is qualified to provide a descriptive analysis of waveforms and patterns but is not responsible for the interpretation of data. Performs routine as well as more advanced testing per program guidelines. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED Salary Information Relocation assistance available to qualified candidates if relocating from 100 miles or greater. Conditions may apply.
