Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Janitor based in Nampa, ID.

The Janitorial Staff is responsible for maintaining a clean facility throughout the Plant.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls daily.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms on an hourly basis.
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones on an hourly basis.
• Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Clean up spills when required.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Notify supervisors of major repairs needed.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

* High School Diploma or completion of GED preferred by not required.

Experience

• 1+ years of commercial cleaning.

Specialized Knowledge

* Knowledge of safety guidelines when managing chemical cleaners.

Skills / Abilities

* Excellent communication skills.

• Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them.
• Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces.
• Ability to lift and move fifty pounds.
• Good organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to use basic cleaning equipment.

* No professional certifications required.

Physical Requirements

* Comfortable working in a cold environment

* Push/pull/lift up to 50lbs
