Corps/Department: Salvation Army Clitheroe Center Rate of Pay: $75,000 - $80,000 annually Scope of Position/Essential Functions: The Assistant Residential Clinical Manager/Operations Manager will facilitate groups, attend staff meetings, and oversee the day-to-day aspects of the Clitheroe Residential schedule, including client monitoring and supervision. They will maintain and enhance treatment capabilities by hiring, training, coaching, and monitoring the Lead Behavioral Health Associates, Behavioral Health Associates (BHA), Case Mangers, the Lead Cook and the Cooks. They will assist in developing clinical curriculum, group schedules, meet licensing requirements, and implement therapeutic interventions. They will be responsible for evaluating treatment effectiveness, ordering, and maintaining stock of clinical materials, and will liaison with community partners, probation/parole/furlough officers. They will ensure the integrity of the overall program schedule of client activities. Education and Work Experience: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Essential Functions: * Chair operations staff team meetings; attend quality assurance meetings; conduct client interventions; and conduct regular reviews of BHAs' documentation work to ensure quality and compliance of records. Software-related Skills: Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required; Intergy EHR, working knowledge of database applications and ability to use new software programs with basic training. Work Environment: The work environment is located in a residential treatment setting. Language Skills: Must be able to understand, follow and give both written and oral instructions. The employee must be able to use speech and hearing for ordinary and telephone conversation. Mathematical Skills: Must be able to perform simple calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and apply concepts such as ratios and percentages in practical situations. Performance Skills: Must be creative, self-motivated, organized, and flexible. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead. Ability to operate a telephone. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to access and produce information from a computer. Ability to understand written information. Bachelors of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services (required)
Experience
3 years: Three years of direct clinical experience in the treatment of chemical dependency, substance use disorders, and dual diagnosis/co-occurring disorders. (required)
