Reliability Coordinator

PURPOSE:

The Reliability Coordinator is responsible for support of the shift team in the management of the Operations work order management system and in developing of processes to ensure proper execution of work, from work order identification through the process of work completion. The Reliability Coordinator reports to the Operations Superintendent.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Works with Reliability Group to develop and deploy effective PMs
  • Responsible for managing WOs in assigned area and scheduling PSM/Inspection related work
  • Reviews all new non-emergency WOs for accuracy and priority
  • Assures WOs have priority in backlog
  • Owns maintenance prioritization
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules with maintenance and shift team
  • Sets maintenance priorities, schedules, night shift equipment prep plan
  • Issues clear instructions for operators to clean, prep equipment for maintenance
  • Review completed WOs to assure proper close out
  • Owns T/A scope including development with other departments
  • Owns all SD, chemical clean, catalyst activation and restart procedures
  • Develops proper PSSR, walk the line, MOCs etc for T/A
  • Owns backlog of T/A WOs for assigned area



REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:



  • 3-5+ years Refinery Operations or related experience
  • HG Diploma, GED or Degree in related field
  • Good communication, training, mentoring skills required
  • Sound leadership skills



PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:



  • Experience with maintenance planning, WO generation, WO backlog management

  • Must be able to work through multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively
  • Must be able to develop and implement systems to train, qualify and develop hourly Operations staff and demonstrate continuous improvement in this discipline
