Construction Loan Servicing Specialist

Job Summary and Scope of Responsibility: Board and balance new construction loans, set up budget and process construction loan disbursement requests.

Essential Functions: With or without reasonable accommodation must be able to perform all essential job functions as described below.

• Set up the budget within the construction lending software and confirm the loan disbursement schedule balances with the budget.
• Review incoming disbursement requests compared to the disbursement schedules for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Prepare disbursement
  requests for approval. Process approved disbursement requests and generate system block entries in core system.
• Order title endorsements and review inspection reports, as appropriate.
• Serve as the primary contact for contractors, borrowers, loan officers and third-party vendors throughout the construction project.
• Balance construction disbursement account, BanControl accounts and inspection general ledger monthly.
• Review various reports and resolve out-of-balance budgets and accounts, as appropriate.
• Prepare and submit monthly Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD Reporting).
• Monitor and post monthly interest reserve payments.

• Proficiency at speaking, reading and writing English.

Experience and/or Education:

• One year of recent experience working in a loan origination or servicing support position.
• Experience working with local general and sub-contractors, preferred.
