SUMMARY

The Life Care Specialist Coordinator leads the team of LCSs at Grady Health System and reports to VP Oncology and Sickle Cell. This role is onsite and supports the LCS team while also spending 50% of their time on patient education and support. This role also tracks data and performance of LCSs on site and coordinates education of statewide LCSs on Grady campus. This role will take lead on managing research portion of the LCS program at Grady as assigned (i.e. administer surveys, track data in spreadsheets, deliver basic reports to research team)

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Sciences, Criminal Justice, Cultural Studies, Anthropology, Sociology or other health care field

Four (4) or more years of job-related experience

Certification of Completion in LCS Training powered by Mercer University (Within 3 Months of Start)

Completion of LCS Practicum and demonstration of clinical shadowing hours

Certified Instructor Community Resiliency Model, Certified Addiction Specialist, Certified Child Life Specialist
