Overview
The Customer Service Manager plays a key role in supporting the sales team and ensuring a positive customer experience. This position is responsible for assisting salespeople in managing customer accounts by coordinating communication, processing orders, and resolving issues efficiently. In addition, the Customer Service Manager serves as a direct point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and resolving complaints with professionalism and urgency. Key responsibilities include ordering and processing materials, maintaining accurate account records, and assisting with back charge procedures when necessary. This role requires strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to support smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities Customer Service Strong Communication Skills Detail Oriented Reporting and Data Entry, Invoicing and Accounts Receivable Scheduling Interface with sales team and customers, providing updates on pricing, delivery, and schedules. Facilitate the resolution of problems and issues between customers and production. Direct order entry/processing, ensuring orders are entered and released in a correct and efficient manner. Invoicing and account reconciliation, including pricing term updates and late payment follow up. Schedule based on design, production, and delivery capabilities. Other duties assigned by management. Qualifications Word Processing Software Spreadsheet Software Internet Software Ability to read and comprehend documents (i.e., policy and procedure manuals); write routine reports and correspondence; speak/present in front of a small group of associates or customers. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Bachelor's degree in business management, Business Administration, or related field preferred |
