Starting Salary Range: $160,000.00 - $182,000.00 - position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. As our Senior Advisor Strategic Insights and Assessments, you will help MISO with coordinating, supporting and providing input to Market and Grid Research (MGR) efforts to analyze industry change and implications on MISO's existing operations, system planning and market functions. Additionally, you will also be conducting research into emerging technologies and member actions to adopt these technologies as well as coordinating efforts related to strategy development and implementation within MGR and between MGR and other service lines. As the Senior Advisor Strategic Insights and Assessments, you will be part of the team that Assist in performance of quantitative, policy and economic scouting, and analysis focused on technological advances in renewable energy including solar wind solar PV, energy storage, energy efficiency/demand response and Distributed Energy Resources. You will also have the opportunity to work on advising and leading on strategic initiatives such as emissions estimation, Resource Adequacy strategy, creating roadmaps to solve for emerging risks and opportunities, and other projects related to the evolution of the power system. Bachelors (required)
Experience
10 years: experience in some of the following areas:
*Transmission planning, competitive electricity market, relevant regulatory and legislative standards and requirements *Demonstrable experience of evaluating emerging power system issues *Track record working on emerging generation and transmission technologies, including wind, solar and DER integration issues *Experience solving complex business problems *Experience advising and leading project teams to accomplish a business goal (required) 5 years: supervisory, project team, project management, or other leadership-oriented experience (required) Equal Opportunity Employer
