Production Lead

Staffmark is hiring a Production Lead for a high-performing operation in Muncie, IN. These roles fill quickly-step up and bring your leadership skills to the floor!

Pay: $19.50/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM (or until work is completed; start/end times may vary based on workload)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support daily production floor operations
• Identify and process zip codes and barcodes on mail efficiently
• Use a 10-key pad for zip code entry
• Operate a sit-down forklift (minimum 1 year of experience required)
• Utilize an RF scanner for inventory tracking (experience preferred)
• Ensure accurate and timely outbound shipping tasks
• Lead team members to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Stand for extended periods and maintain strong attendance

Requirements:

• Previous forklift and shipping experience required
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to stand for extended periods and stay active throughout the shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 30 lbs frequently during repetitive tasks
• Experience using an RF scanner preferred
• Ability to accurately read and recognize zip codes and associated barcodes on mail pieces
• Proficient in using a 10-key keypad to input zip codes (minimum 450 entries/hour)
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Basic computer literacy required
• Comfortable with frequent bending, stretching, and constant movement
