Job Description

Manage the selection of vendors to provide SAAS and/or external support of RRD applications. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of existing system. Configure, code and test system implementations/modifications. Manage contracts and relationships with vendors who provide SAAS and/or external support of RRD applications. Document and analyze project data to determine specifications or requirements. Assess database and application performance, determine and execute on plans to optimize performance. Partner with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership to ensure technology deliverables are on target with goals, make modifications, and adapt to organizational goals. Develop performance metrics or standards related to information technology. Align processes with department goals. Review the information and take corrective action to maintain service levels and deliverables. Review data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements and provide both strategic and tactical recommendations to improve business capabilities. Benchmark best practices and integrate them into existing processes. Control costs by managing internal resources and external offshore resources and containing expenses. Assess resource needs (materials, tools, information) and allocate in accordance with the budget. Articulate the interface between business objectives and departmental product and service goals. Develop processes to produce management reports, statistics, and performance measures. Provide continual and constructive feedback on performance results against departmental goals to senior management. Define the specific achievement levels needed for department success. Appraise performance against accountabilities and assesses development opportunities. Coach and monitor staff in continuous performance improvement, and development.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $164,488 - $169,500/yr. Standard Company Benefits.


Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and seven (7) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive, related work experience in PeopleSoft HCM and related HR systems development and support.

Must have five (5) years of experience with/ in:

  • Managing projects related to PeopleSoft HR, Payroll, or Compensation systems;
  • Identifying and resolving complex problems related to system development, data management, job processes, or interfaces; and
  • Technical development and configuration experience related to PeopleSoft HR, Payroll and Compensation systems.

Must have three (3) years of experience with/ in:

  • Supervisory experience with technical teams, functional teams, or project teams; and
  • Integration with internal financial systems and external vendor systems such as banks, benefits providers, or other third parties.

Must have two (2) years of experience with/ in:

  • Managing offshore resources.

100% Telecommuting permitted.

Up to 15% domestic and international travel required.

RRD's target salary for thisrole$164,488 - $169,500/year.In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
