Position Summary: Paisly's Manager of Hotel Contracting & Partner Inventory is a strategic, analytical, and results-oriented leader who is passionate about expanding our lodging and hotel offerings to deliver value to our customers. This individual will manage the performance of Paisly's existing hotel product portfolio while also playing a critical role in sourcing new inventory and negotiating favorable contracts and commercial terms. Strong negotiation skills are essential to secure competitive rates, ensure alignment with service level expectations, and build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. This role is instrumental in maintaining a robust and diverse inventory of lodging options that align with the evolving needs of our customers, ensuring availability of the right properties at the right time. As part of the Commercial team, the Manager of Hotel Contracting & Partner Inventory will collaborate closely with colleagues across Technology, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to develop and execute strategies which support sustainable growth and an outstanding customer experience. Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Paisly's lodging product strategy, including supply acquisition, contract management, product mix, and partner performance.
- Manage and develop a team of hotel contracting managers, providing direction, support, and performance management to ensure successful execution of partner acquisition and relationship strategies.
- Grow Paisly's direct partnerships with international and domestic lodging / hotel brands.
- Manage lodging partnership strategy - including defining and negotiating commercial contract terms and service level agreements for existing and newly-identified business partners.
- Analyze business partner and destination performance trends on an ongoing basis.
- Establish priorities for direct hotel supply management (i.e., optimization of pricing and inventory availability).
- Contribute to the development and coordination of marketing campaign plans to ensure that offerings consistently reflect customer demand trends, destination dynamics, and property priorities.
- Collaborate on merchandising strategy of lodging on the Paisly website and other distribution channels.
- Lead team that maintains relationships with our top lodging partners (responsible for contracting, negotiating, price monitoring, exclusive benefit roll-outs, etc.).
- Analyze industry trends and identify market opportunities to bring unique travel experiences to life for our current and future customers.
- Monitor competitive industry landscape and customer experience / product trends and determine implications to Paisly product design, portfolio strategy and business development.
- Provide leadership, guidance and development to the Hotel Contracting & Partner Inventory team.
- Provides necessary support to stakeholders across the Paisly organization.
- Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement.
- Other complex projects and duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree; OR demonstrated capability through equivalent experience, such as a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.
- Five (5) years of progressive experience in negotiating contracts, setting up performance metrics, and fostering long-term relationships with key partners, with at least two (2) years in a managerial or leadership role, including hotel sourcing experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as quantitative critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite and analytical tools.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, collaboratively and under pressure.
- Available for frequent overnight travel (30%).
- Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States.
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Relevant job experience in the travel, hotel, and/or hospitality industries.
- Knowledge of ecommerce and online travel industry.
- Experience launching new customer products or customer journeys.
- Exposure to and knowledge of profit and loss (P&L) management.

- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond at short notice.
- Able to maintain a professional appearance.
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.
