Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager of Events & Experiences to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of our event strategy. This pivotal role will shape how Toshiba shows up across the industry-whether through high-impact tradeshows, partner activations, customer briefings, or other immersive brand experiences.

You will oversee a high-performing event team and work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Business Development, and Executive Leadership to deliver brand-elevating experiences that drive pipeline, customer loyalty, and industry recognition.

This is a highly complex, hands-on leadership role that requires a balance of strategic vision, creative thinking, meticulous execution, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Planning

* Own the global event strategy and master calendar, aligned to business goals and marketing priorities

* Define event KPIs, messaging goals, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment

* Evaluate new opportunities for strategic participation or hosted experiences

Tradeshows & Industry Events

* Lead Toshiba's presence at flagship events (e.g., NRF, NACS, EuroShop) including booth strategy, logistics, staffing, speaking opportunities, and ROI analysis

* Identify partner activations and alternative engagement models to drive pipeline

Toshiba-Owned & Partner Events

* Plan and execute executive forums, Customer Advisory Councils, webinars, sales kickoff events, and regional roadshows

* Engage our channel and partner teams to execute our participation in partner events, roadshows and more.

* Ensure a best-in-class experience that strengthens relationships and brand loyalty

C ustomer Briefing Center & Executive Engagements

* Manage strategy, scheduling, and content for high-touch Executive Briefing Center & Customer Innovation Studio experiences and executive engagements

* Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to tailor sessions to strategic customer needs

Team & Vendor Leadership

* Lead and mentor a small team of internal event professionals and external vendors

* Oversee all agency relationships, event technology platforms, and production partners

* Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, on-brand experiences

Project Management & Operations

* Own the end-to-end planning and delivery of events including budgeting, contracts, timelines, logistics, and reporting

* Drive operational excellence and process improvements through automation, AI tools, and standardized workflows

* Ensure events are executed on-time and within budget, with clear roles and responsibilities

Analytics & Optimization

* Track, analyze, and report event performance against KPIs including ROI, pipeline influence, and customer satisfaction

* Apply insights to continuously optimize event portfolio and maximize marketing effectiveness

Required Qualifications

* 12+ years of B2B event marketing or corporate events experience, preferably in technology or retail

* Proven success in managing tradeshows, partner activations, and hosted customer programs

* Strong leadership experience managing internal teams and cross-functional stakeholders

* Expertise in logistics, vendor management, and event technologies (e.g., GoldCast, Cvent)

* Excellent budgeting, negotiation, and communication skills

* Experience working with senior executives and high-value customers

* Demonstrated ability to measure and report event ROI and influence on pipeline

Preferred Qualifications

* Familiarity with the retail technology ecosystem and ISV/channel partnerships

* Experience managing executive briefing programs or Customer Experience Centers

* Creative mindset with the ability to translate brand vision into compelling physical and digital experiences

* Strong understanding of the full event marketing funnel-from awareness to pipeline acceleration

Financial & Strategic Impact

This role oversees a multimillion-dollar events budget and is directly responsible for delivering measurable business outcomes. Events led by this role impact deal velocity, brand awareness, customer loyalty, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities. Success will be evaluated through KPIs such as pipeline influenced, cost-per-lead, event ROI, and customer satisfaction.

Complexity & Scope

This is a highly strategic and operationally complex role. It requires working across multiple event types, departments, geographies, and partner ecosystems. The Manager must balance creativity with precision, lead under pressure, and drive consensus across senior stakeholders to ensure Toshiba shows up with clarity and impact in the market.
