Corewell Health Behavioral Health Practice

This new Behavioral Health Practice will be located inside the Corewell Learning and Innovation center in Dearborn. This new practice will be an outpatient training location for the Corewell Health psychiatry residency program and offer adult psychiatry and adult psychotherapy services.

In addition to this primary location in Dearborn, this practice manager position will also have oversight over the existing adult psychiatry practice in Royal Oak and the new child psychiatry practice that will be opening in Southfield.

Our ideal candidate will have straightforward evidence of the skills needed to successfully manage the day-to-day operations of a medical practice and the team of providers and clinical support.

Scope of work

Supervises and train office support staff to ensure optimal patient process flow and serve as a liaison between physicians and clinical staff in daily operations. The Practice Manager II is responsible for charge processing, A/R follow up, cash processing, patient flow, maintenance of scheduling system and patient medical records. They will assist with developing and implementing policies, process improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives.

The scope of this position will be determined by leadership according to defined leveling criteria.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required.
  • Bachelor's degree Preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant healthcare experience Preferred.
  • Two (2) years of direct staff supervisory experience in a customer-service or healthcare field Required.
  • Experience utilizing an electronic health record system Preferred.
