*Description*
Our Client's Back Office (Finance & HR) currently uses PeopleSoft as the ERP. Our Client's services groups use modules within PeopleSoft to track projects/invoicing called ESA - Enterprise Services Automation. The Business Process team is looking to add a Business process analyst to work on the adoption of ESA. This individual should be capable of working independently once given the direction. This resource should also have the ability to command a (virtual) room to design business process sessions as well as work with all levels of an organization while rolling out change (users, steering committee, IT, business). The Business Process analyst will will enable the digital transformation journey with BPM methods and governance that leverage an enterprise-wide view of people, processes, and technology to deliver value and increased capabilities. The Analyst will work closely with Operating Company partners and the BPM Lead on all facets of business process management initiatives including discovery, modeling, analysis, reengineering, and measurement. The Analyst will be responsible for managing process documentation and supporting content in a central repository. As part of the Business Process Management Office and the BPM Center of Excellence, the Business Process Analyst will have input to methodology, templates, content management, and other best practices as they relate to the BPM service offering * Liaise among subject matter experts and other business partners to elicit and document current state business processes, analyze, and measure process performance, and design future state processes that optimize value. * Partner with Product Managers/Owners to ensure understanding of the business architecture; business capability and process landscape to deliver value throughout the product lifecycle. * Identify and analyze business problems and define the scope of activities required to address the issues, including requirement definition, process review, impact assessment and operational streamlining where appropriate. * Diagram and evaluate existing processes (Allegis uses Signavio) * Collect and analyze process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on increased productivity, reduced costs and positive user experience. * Perform and implement process improvement initiatives. * Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement; identify indicators for future improvement opportunities. * Provide consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. * Contribute to and prepare documentation for recommendations and cost benefit analysis. * Research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data. * Develop and maintain strong relationship with business partners and internal/external team members. * Identify issues and escalate/manage resolution as required. * Assist Product Teams with crafting user stories and acceptance criteria based on process research and MVP validation * Contribute to the evolution of the BPM service offering; leverage previous experience and best practices to drive value to the organization. *Skills* Process mapping, Business process analysis, Process analysis, Process improvement, Agile, Change management, Business process modeling, communication and writing skills, erp implementation, Business analysis, Visio, Requirements gathering *Top Skills Details* Process mapping, Business process analysis, Process analysis, Process improvement, Agile, Change management, Business process modeling, communication and writing skills, erp implementation *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Within the Business Process responsibilities includes change management - stakeholder engagement, understanding current state/future state and the gaps involved as well as the impacts to various roles through the journey to the future state. Excellent Communication skills and ability to articulate to all levels of the organization. This individual should have experience as a Business Process Analyst on a large scale software implementation. Additional Skills & Qualifications The Business Process Analyst will collaborate with the Lead Process Analysts and other members of the BPM Team, product owners, as well as business and technical stakeholder to understand all components of key business processes. The Business Process Analyst will work in an environment that is demanding and requires independent thinking. The BPA is naturally inquisitive and will probe for answers; is excellent at honest analysis and can look beyond the obvious. Excellent communication and interviewing skills are critical. The Business Process Analyst gathers information by interviewing people who perform the business processes - They must be proficient in the use of analytic tools such as data gathering and analysis, spreadsheets, flow-charting and process diagramming. They also need excellent writing skills to produce reports and presentations * Ability to quickly learn organizational structure, business strategies and processes. * Knowledgeable on business process modeling techniques. * Able to identify and leverage best practices. * Establish and assess process value through performance metrics and measurement. * Utilize consultative approach to collect and analyze process and performance data, identify best practices, recommend areas for redesign, design future state. * Strong communication skills; leverage various styles (verbal and written) to communicate detailed process information to facilitate a number of downstream activities including: user story authoring, gap analysis, change mgmt *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
