Join our cutting-edge team to develop, integrate, maintain, and support advanced electronic PCBs powering our full line of Cytek Flow Cytometers. You'll play a vital role in instrument control, real-time signal & image processing, and high-throughput data acquisition, driving innovation in the laboratory instrument space.

What You'll Do

  • Design & Build - Create, debug, and finetune high-performance electrical hardware: from schematic capture and multilayer PCB layouts to BOM creation and component selection.
  • Prototype & Test - Develop wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation. Conduct comprehensive research to enhance system performance.
  • Collaborate Across Teams - Partner with mechanical, software, optical, and fluidic engineers to build and verify electromechanical systems in real time.
  • Regulatory Compliance - Drive EMC/ESD testing, ensure compliance with medical electrical standards (EMC/IEC), and secure certifications.
  • Launch Support - Provide technical expertise during verification, manufacturing, and postlaunch phases. Create subsystem technical documentation and user manuals.
  • Lead & Mentor - Provide technical leadership, coach junior engineers, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • System Mastery - Become the goto expert in all Cytek Cytometer systems-diagnose, repair, and benchmark subsystem electronics to optimize performance.

What You Bring

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of industry experience, with medical device development preferred.
  • Expert in PCB layout (4+ layers), signal processing, analog & digital circuits, and C programming.
  • Proven experience with electromechanical design and subsystems (electronics, optics, fluidics, control software).
  • Ability to independently design and analyze circuits and accurately perform relevant verification and design according to the datasheet of electronic components.
  • Familiar with relevant industrial standards and experienced in EMC/ESD debugging.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem solving, communication and organization skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on conveying technical information to non-subject matter experts.
