Position Title: Batch Plant Operator
Wage: $21.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm Feeling underpaid or undervalued? This could be the position that you deserve! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Batch Plant Operator at a company in Bondurant, IA. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now! Batch Plant Operator Responsibilities: - Operate batching equipment and concrete mixers to help maintain maximum production levels - Use batch control equipment to adjust the concrete batches to maintain high quality concrete - Monitor batch control board and screen to ensure the proper equipment and process functions for making concrete - Assist with and perform routine maintenance on concrete mixers that includes checking and replacing fluids, lubricating parts and cleaning equipment as needed - Keep the batching equipment clean and in good operating condition - Receive delivery tickets for aggregates and cementitious materials for quality and accounting purposes - Work with plant supervision to help coordinate the delivery of concrete to the work departments within the plant - Summarize daily concrete batch data and usage from wet and dry batch process to report material usage against products produced - Diagnose and assist in troubleshooting when mixing/batching processes are interrupted Requirements for Batch Plant Operator: - Concrete mixing experience preferred - Experience with KF Batching system and/or related software - Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time - Able to perform repetitive actions and frequent bending and stooping - Able to lift up to 50lbs. on an occasional basis - General knowledge of hydraulic and electrical components - Familiar with the application of Lock Out / Tag Out procedures desmoinesresume@qpsemployment.com IND092 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
