The CDO is looking for a dynamic CDO Partner for the ASML Wilton site. You will be a key member of the CDO organization driving the awareness, enablement, and impact of data, analytics, and AI solutions for ASML Wilton. You will be at the center of enabling and driving ASML's organizational empowerment to leverage the value of data, building bridges across sectors enable a data foundation and setting the stage for the art of the possible with data and AI for the largest ASML site in the USA with opportunities to help multiple business lines, sectors, programs, and departments at the core of ASML holistic lithography strategy and product roadmap.

Context of Position

The Data Partner for Wilton is part of the Chief Data Office (CDO) department, within the IT & Data sector. You will report to the CDO US group leader and collaborate closely with the Lead Data Partner in Netherlands to drive data and AI partnership responsibilities and maturity. You will work closely with CDO leadership and with senior stakeholders, at different levels of the organizational hierarchy.

The CDO combined internal and external workforce spans a direct global team that serves across ASML. Our data enabling services include data management and governance, data and analytics platforms, data analytics delivery and AI services enablement, all to serve transversally to empower higher levels of data maturity at the ASML ecosystem, in strong partnership with the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a CDO Partner, you will service our key stakeholder groups (x-sector programs, sectors, business lines) in Wilton to understand and support an integrated journey around value delivery with data. This includes partnering and developing strategy, enabling value and capabilities to support stakeholders' objectives, connecting initiatives across sectors, and collaborating closely with IT & Data stakeholders and delivery teams. You are at the heart of the action to drive and deliver value enablement with data. Overall, this CDO Partner role balances business and data acumen, with a relentless drive to serve, deliver impact with data, and enable the capabilities that Wilton needs.

As CDO Partner, you service our key stakeholders in the journey to data maturity, ensuring connection and delivery of Wilton's data strategy, foundation, and solutions:

Partner in Strategy and Enabling Value at Scale

  • Act as key CDO mobilization agent for Wilton stakeholder groups, sharing and connecting with all relevant contributing parties within CDO, IT & Data sector, and more transversally where needed.
  • Enable a joint understanding of the "art of the possible" and how to achieve it.
  • Motivate ownership of prioritization and support translation into data strategies and data roadmaps with stakeholders, ensuring necessary sponsorship.
  • Balance requirements and expectations of initiatives, changes, and impact.
  • Represent CDO in relevant Business Lines/Sectors/APIs x-sector governance structures according to priorities at hand.
  • Connect and collaborate with IT & Data Business Partners and Portfolio Management to ensure Wilton's data and analytics priorities are integrated into relevant sector portfolios and roadmaps.

Partner in Facilitating Strategy Execution, Communication, and Change

  • Facilitate connection of Wilton's data management and analytics priorities to CDO data strategy and value, directly supporting CDO in strategy realization.
  • Safeguard that the prioritized Wilton data management roadmap is based on enabling value and data capabilities ramp-up.
  • Troubleshoot data product programs execution, mediate when needed, and facilitate alignment within the data operating model across ASML.
  • Connect and lead the alignment of Wilton data initiatives across sectors and BLs to facilitate an effective and scalable federated ASML data strategy.
  • Develop data communication, communities, and literacy for ASML Wilton connected to IT & Data and CDO data literacy efforts.
  • Learn to speak the language of stakeholders, know their business, their processes, and help develop that knowledge in CDO capability teams.

Partner in Data Capabilities Ramp-Up

  • Work with stakeholders in developing data competences and capabilities, bridging with poles of expertise accordingly.
  • Drive relevance and of ASML global data management, tools, and platforms standards for Wilton.
  • Identify data capability gaps across Wilton departments and work with stakeholders and CDO capability teams to prioritize enablement step-ups.
  • Align with and communicate towards CDO delivery teams on Wilton's data-centric priorities and activities, supporting the deployment of the data operating model across ASML.
  • Drive a clear vision and plan of how the Wilton's data landscape and analytics capabilities will developed, ensure alignment within IT & Data sector and CDO department.
  • Strive for continuous improvement and share best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data, Engineering or related fields combined with a strong affinity for Data Analytics AI Technology; Master's degree preferred.
  • Agile Product Ownership certifications (i.e. Scrum CSPO, SAFe POPM), a plus
  • Data and AI Strategy or Program Management certifications a plus.
  • Extensive and diverse experience serving a complex organizational landscape in motivating the setup of new data-centric, analytics, and AI competences, driving change programs, and orchestrating as a service.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience leading data management and analytics capability strategy and roadmaps
  • Demonstrated expertise with developing and driving realization of data-centric and analytics capability strategies for cross-sector engagement with senior stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated ASML-relevant business process knowledge for domains such as engineering, manufacturing, logistics, quality, and customer support.
  • Extensive network and operational knowledge of ASML, our products, services, and operational model preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead local and collaborate with global data engineering and analytics teams including DevOps, DataOps, Platform, and Enabling Teams.
  • Demonstrated competence in applying data, analytics, and AI capabilities to diverse business domain and scenarios
  • Working knowledge and understanding of benefits and positioning of data and analytics solutions
  • Working knowledge of AI, data science, data mining, business process modeling and analytics in large scale enterprise context
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based offerings and vendor differentiation related to analytics and information processing capabilities
  • Familiar with data governance principles, enterprise data modeling, and data management practices

Other Information

  • This position is located on-site in Wilton, CT . It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
  • A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).
  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
