Application Production Support Engineer

Job Brief:

The Transmissions Support group within the Core Support division, is responsible for the support and maintenance or file transmissions software at Keybank, including Bizlink and Tectia. On the job training about the intricacies of Keybank's Transmissions process, philosophies, and mission will be provided. After hours and weekend on-call support is part of the position on a rotating basis.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform day to day monitoring of all non-production and production related environments through approved enterprise tools.
• Own and influence the development, implementation, and support of one or more environments, applications, or platforms.
• Advocates for improvements in the technology and processes used.
• Develop and document technical processes and procedures.
• Ensure security standards are followed.
• Understand and remediate any Governance, Risk and Compliance issues.
• Identifies and develops standards and best practices.
• Champion partnership between Transmissions Operations and Technology Teams
• This role will require on call rotation and off hours support.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with transmissions (ssh, sftp, etc) and SSH key authentication
• Experience with tools such as Elastic, Dynatrace, FileZilla, WinSCP
• Investigation and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communications skills
• Able to take constructive criticism and learn from experiences
• Capable of honest self-assessment
• Associates or Bachelor's degree (preferred focus in Technology), OR equivalent work experience

Beneficial Skills and Competencies

• Experience with the Bizlink and Tectia platforms, Oracle database, Windows Server, Virtual Servers, PowerShell, Java, .NET and Apache based technologies and networking/firewalls.
• Experience in a production support and on call role.
• Basic understanding of Site Reliability Engineering, monitoring and the "Golden Signals".

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $85,000.00 to $115,000.00 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
